# Close Inbox

Close Inbox closes open DoesQA inbox tabs or windows in the Test Runner. Use it when you are finished with mail steps and want the browser back on your application.

## When to use it

* Close the inbox after Open Email or Select Email when later steps continue on the app.
* Keep the Flow tidy when several mail steps opened the inbox UI.
